The Fisherman and his Soul

An operatic  scena based on the short story by

Oscar Wilde

Music and libretto by Oliver Rudland

Throwing his nets out into the sea, a fisherman catches a mermaid by mistake and instantly falls in love. But in order to win the heart of his newfound bride he must relinquish the one thing he cannot sacrifice: his soul.
